Chairman Sutton opened the hearing on SCR1605.
Revisor Heim gave an overview of SCR1605.
Secretary Scott Schwab testified that this would save the state $834,000 in 2020 and would benefit the State by allowing for expedited redistricting.(Attachment 1)
Discussing followed. Chairman Sutton closed the hearing.
Representative Carpenter made a motion to suspend the rules and work SC1605 today. Representative Clark second, it passed.
Representative Carpenter made a motion to pass SC1605 as favorable. Representative Dove second, it passed.
