Jennifer VandeVelde testified that the purpose of the bill was to correct language that was inadvertently changed in Executive Reorganization Order No. 41 that granted oversight of TB cases and contact investigations to the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services. The responsibility lies within the Department of Health and Environment (Attachment 1).
