Jesse Romo, President Kansas Association of Airports (KAA), presented neutral testimony. (Attachment 24) They do support protecting air space, but do not support the airports making those decisions and have several amendment suggestions for the committee to consider regarding the bill. He stood for questions.
Written neutral testimony was provided by Leo Haynos, Chief Engineer, Kansas Corporation Commission, Utilities Division. (Attachment 25) and Jay Hall, Kansas Association of Counties. (Attachment 26)

The hearing on HB 2273 was suspended until February 21 at 8:30 am, when opponent testimony will be presented.
