Chairperson Kerschen opened the hearing on SB49.
Tamera Lawrence of Revisor of Statutes Office explained the bill.
Brad Loveless testified in support of the bill. He wants to maximize the use of the cabins in the state parks and run the cabin program like a business. In order to do this he wants to remove the public hearing process from the equation to provide more flexibility in order to maximize profits and use of the cabins and campsites.(Attachment 1)
