Kyle Hamilton gave an overview of HB2228.(Attachment 1)
Lorrena Steelman spoke in support of HB2228 explaining what procedures are presently in place and how this bill will improve enforcement of licensing child care facilities. (Attachment 2)
Leadell Ediger spoke in support of HB2228. She explained the value of child care in the state as well as the need for child safety in all care facilities. For this reason the State needs to guarantee the safety of children and this bill provides a way to enforce State standards.(Attachment 3)
