Vice-Chairperson Pilcher-Cook opened deliberations on SB 27 and requested Revisor Charles Reimer to provide an overview of the bill.
Senator Baumbardner moved, seconded by Senator Longbine, to pass SB 27 and place it on the Consent Calendar. The motion carried.
The following two documents were provided to Committee members:
- Letter from Don McGinty, The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., concerning SB 26 - Income tax credit for certain purchases of goods and services by a taxpayer from qualified vendors that provide employment to individuals who are blind or disabled. (Attachment 9)
- Memo and chart from William Sneed concerning real estate rebates in answer to a question during the hearing on SB 42 - Amending the meaning of the terms "rebate" and "interest" as used in the real estate brokers' and salespersons' license act. (Attachment 10)
