Todd Fleisher testified on behalf of the Kansas Optometric Association. The organization does not allow corporate practices. The organization feels that this interferes with patient care and how it is delivered. There is also a concern regarding shared liability (Attachment 10).
Rachelle Colombo provided information about a task force created by the Kansas Medical Society. Their concerns are related to the safeguards for consumers. The Society would like to continue the conversation related to corporate medicine (Attachment 11).
Mrs. Colombo fielded questions from the committee.
