Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on SB132. Mike Heim, staff revisor, presented a briefing on the bill.
Senator David Haley spoke as a proponent of SB132 and provided an overview of the bill. Senator Haley explained the bill would allow if a yard sign is across the street from the entrance to the polling place, it would still not violate electioneering law. (Attachment 1)
After questions by the Committee were addressed, Chairperson Bowers closed the hearing on SB132.
