Chairperson Jennings had questions and comments.
Kim Parker testified in support of HB2132 on behalf of Kansas County and District Attorney's Association. Ms. Parker stated HB2132 allows for a enhanced penalty to a Severity level 10 felony. (Attachment 1)
Representatives Carmichael, Highberger, Pannbacker, and Delperdang had questions and comments.
Chairperson Jennings called for final questions from the Committee and then closed the hearing.
Chairperson Jennings adjourned the meeting.
The Subcommittee to discuss HB2048 and HB2073 met immediately after the House Corrections and Juvenile Justice Committee adjourned.
