Assistant Revisor Jenna Moyer, provided a summation of HB2007, providing for distinctive, non-transferable license plates for retired members of all five branches of the United States military. The summation noted the procedures for applying, the exemption from personalized license plate fee, and the right of family members to possession, with restrictions, upon death of the veteran. (Attachment 5) No proponents, opponents, or neutral conferees were present. The hearing on HB2007 was closed and the meeting was adjourned by the Chair at 10:40 am. The next meeting of the Veterans and Military Committee will be held, Thursday, February 7, 2019.
