Chairperson Tarwater opened the hearing on HB2076 and asked Charles Reimer, Assistant Senior Revisor, Office of Revisor of Statutes, to give an overview of the bill. There were no questions.

All conferees stood for questions and a member of the audience, Peter Brady, Kansas Department of Labor, stated he did not have a definitive answer for the members on their specific question, but he would confer with others in the Department and respond by email.
Written-only proponent testimony was received after conclusion of the meeting from Kristi Brown, Sr. Director of Government Affairs, Kansas Chamber. The testimony was forwarded to Committee members. (Attachment 4)
There was no other testimony provided on HB 2076.
Chairperson Tarwater closed the hearing on HB2076 and thanked the conferees for attending.
