Chairman Olson opened the hearing on the bill and he called for a Revisor of Statues overview of the bill. Eileen Ma provided the overview.. (Attachment 1)
Dana Bacon offered the only oral testimony for the hearing. He provided opposition testimony stating concerns that the bill might weaken consumer protections for short-term policy holders. He cautioned that plans that have too narrow a scope of benefits may be accompanied with unexpected financial and medical consequences. (Attachment 2)
