AN ACT concerning property taxation; relating to property tax revenues of taxing jurisdictions; providing for a protest petition to contest increases in property tax revenues; establishing the property tax relief fund; providing transfers to taxing jurisdictions that limit property taxes to certain increases; establishing the property tax limit in lieu of the revenue neutral rate to provide for certain budget increases of taxing jurisdictions; continuing in existence the taxpayer notification costs fund; amending K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 72-5137, 79-2929, 79-2988 and 79-2989 and repealing the existing sections.
