Senator Francisco offered an amendment to HB2543.(Attachment 2)
Senator Francisco made a motion to move the amendment as presented.Seconded by Senator Kerschen.
Discussion followed on the change to number of days being changed from 60 to 75 on page 1 line 20.
Senator Francisco made a motion to move the amendment proposed for HB2543 except for the change from 75 to 60. Motion carries.
Chairman Peck offered a conceptual amendment. After the word unlawful on Page 1 line33 and Page 2 line 11 to insert 'and subject to penalties provided in KSA 47-421'.
Chairman Peck made a motion to add KS47-421. Seconded by Senator Fagg.
Discussion followed.
Motion carries.
Senator Fagg made a motion to move HB2543 out of committee as amended. Senator Kerschen seconds. Motion carries
