The Chair opened the hearing on SB356. Assistant Revisor Ma gave an overview of the bill and stood for questions. (Attachment7).
Marlee Carpenter, on behalf of the Kansas Association of Property and Casualty Insurance Companies, submitted written only proponent testimony. (Attachment 8).
Eric Turek, Director Government and Public Affairs, Kansas Insurance Department (KID). provided proponent testimony and stood for questions. (Attachment 9) The KID supports the establishment of a new, tiered financial examination fee schedule.
