Chairperson Gossage opened the hearing on SB433.
Carly Humes, Staff Revisor gave an overview of the bill. (Attachment 1) She took questions from committee members.
Scott Brunner spoke as a proponent of SB433. He stated that the substance of SB433 is changing the "and" to "or" which joins three subsections regarding qualifications for an institutional licensed doctor. This change restores the statute back to original legislative intent and will allow more flexibility in the hiring of doctors at our state hospitals. (Attachment 2)
