Jenna Moyer, Staff Revisor gave an overview of the bill. (Attachment 4) She answered questions from committee members.
Steve Anderson testified in support of SB488. He stated that the proposed changes in SB488 would revise the bill to expand the responsibilities and oversight capabilities of the office to include all Kansas cash, food, and health assistance programs. Attachment 5)
Steven Greene gave proponent testimony saying that SB488 is a critical piece of legislation that will enhance transparency, accountability, and integrity within our state's assistance programs. Attachment 6)
