The Chairman recognized Representative Timothy Johnson. (Attachment 8) He said HB2759 modifies the definition of "veteran" and "disabled veteran" to create a common definition for both terms throughout Kansas statutes. This bill also clarifies disability evaluations for benefits granted to a disabled veteran.
Mike Kelly came forward in support of this bill.(Attachment 9)
