Scott Anglemyer, Policy Director, Community Care Network of Kansas (CCN), provided testimony in opposition to HB2669 (Attachment 26). Currently the FQHCs are providing multiple services to schools including behavioral health services. Service hours range from a few hours a week to forty hours per week. CCN cannot support the bill because they feel it tilts the playing field toward one type of organization in a way that excludes other qualified providers. This limits access of care.
Mr. Anglemyer responded to questions from the committee.
