Representative Carmichael proposed an amendment that would change the wording on line 19 from "one of not more than four persons" to "a person". (Attachment 1)
Representative Carmichael moved, Representative Schlingensiepen seconded, to adopt the amendment. The motion carried.
Representative Carmichael proposed an amendment that would expand the immunity from not only prosecution for criminal violation but also extend to probation and parole violations. (Attachment 2)
Representative Carmichael moved, Representative Schlingensiepen seconded, to adopt the amendment. The motion carried.
Representative Maughan moved, Represenative Schlingensiepen seconded, to recommend HB2487 as amended, favorably for passage. The motion carried. Representatives Carmichael, Martinez, and Schlingensiepen requested their "Aye" votes be recorded.
