Chris Waggoner, assistant Revisor, Office of Revisor of Statutes, provided the committee with a briefing on the bill HB2575. (Attachment 4)
Representative Joe Seiwert presented support of HB2575 as a six mile section of K-96 Avenue northwest to the junction of Nickerson Road in Reno County. He believed this would honor the 96th Deadeye Infantry Division Memorial Highway, recognizing the service of Kansans who were military heroes. (Attachment 5)
Ron Hirst, private citizen, presented verbal presentation on HB2575 supporting a portion of K-96 Highway in Reno County as the ninety sixth Deadeye Infantry Division Memorial HIghway. He wanted to honor those in Kansas who served in this infantry division. (Attachment 6)
There were no opponents and no neutral testimonies to the bill.
The chair closed on hearing HB 2575.
