David Wiese, Office of the Revisor of Statutes, provided a brief review of the bill.
Senator Masterson distributed a balloon amendment and discussed the proposed changes. (Attachment 1)
Senator Masterson moved, Senator Alley seconded, adoption of the balloon amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Masterson moved, Senator Claeys seconded, to recommend SB 309, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried. Senator McGinn is recorded as passing and Senator Pettey is recorded as voting no.
