Chair Hoheisel called for discussion and final action on HB 2247, recognized David Wiese, Senior Assistant Revisor, who provided a review of HB 2247. No questions.
Chair Hoheisel announced a balloon amendment on HB 2247 and requested David Wiese, Senior Assistant Revisor to explain the Hoheisel amendment, (Attachment2).
Chair Representative Nick Hoheisel moved to adopt the amendment, seconded by Representative Bill Clifford. The motion passed on a voice vote.
Representative Bill Clifford made a motion to favorably pass HB 2247 as amended. The motion was seconded by Representative Michael Dodson and passed on a voice vote.
The next House Financial Institutions and Pensions Committee meeting is Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Chair Hoheisel adjourned the meeting at 9:15 am.
