Short Title
Enacting the Kansas campus restoration act to address deferred maintenance at state educational institutions, establishing the Kansas campus restoration fund in the state treasury and authorizing certain transfers from the state general fund to such fund.

Chairperson Billinger called for final action on SB 203.
Chairperson Billinger distributed an amendment and discussed the proposed changes. (Attachment 6)
Chairperson Billinger indicated that some dollar amounts have been clarified so he would like to amend the document to, on page 2 line 8, strike "$300,000,000" and insert "$240,000,000."
Chairperson Billinger moved, Senator Claeys seconded, adoption of the amendment, as further amended. Motion carried.
Senator Claeys moved, Senator Fagg seconded, to recommend SB 203, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
Chairperson Billinger adjourned the meeting at 11:15 am. The next meeting will be March 7, 2023.
