Chairwoman Warren opened the hearing on HB2070. Jason Thompson provided an overview of the bill and stood for questions.(Attachment17)
Scott Schultz provided testimony in support of HB2070. The Commission believes that the cost/benefit of treating an offender in the community rather than revoking them to an expensive prison sanction pays for itself. (Attachment 18)
