Chairperson Kerschen announced to the committee that he was not reopening the hearing on SB71 because he had learned that the House of Representatives did not intend to work the bill.
Senator Francisco told the committee that she had an amendment to SB71 that she would like to introduce even though no action was going to taken during this session. Copies of the amendment were passed out to the committee and Senator Francisco explained the changes to the bill offered in the amendment.(Attachment 1)
Senator Francisco moved and Senator Ware seconded to adopt the proposed amendment, Motion carried
