Chairperson Kerschen called for final action on SB205.
Tamera Lawrence with the Revisor of Statutes Office explained the bill.
Senator Francisco suggested a balloon amendment to the bill. Tamera Lawrence distributed and explained the balloon amendment.(Attachment 1)
Senator Francisco moved and Senator Ware seconded the proposed balloon amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Ryckman moved and Senator Francisco seconded to recommend SB205, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
Chairperson Kerschen asked the committee for further discussion on SB71 which the committee heard at the February 15 meeting. Members agreed that the committee would meet on Tuesday, Feb. 21 to further discuss this bill.
With no further business before the committee, Chairperson Kerschen adjourned the meeting at 9:00 AM.
