SB104 was heard on February 9, 2023. Senator Olson advised that he had prepared an amendment to the bill. Eileen Ma, Assistant Revisor, Kansas Revisor of Statutes Office (ROS), distributed and explained the amendment, then answered questions from Senator Warren. (Attachment 1) Senator Gossage moved, seconded by Senator Pittman, that the amendment be adopted. The amendment carried.
Senator Dietrich moved, seconded by Senator Gossage that SB104, as amended, be passed with favorable recommendation. The motion carried.
Chairperson Longbine turned attention to action on SB24.
