Representative Blex moved, seconded by Representative Melton to amend HB2083 to strike the paragraph that would prohibit vacant property registries.(Attachment 28) Motion carried.
Representative Blex moved, seconded by Representative Underhill to amend HB2083 to address the scope of the bill with respect to legal and equitable mortgagees and lienholders.(Attachment 29) Motion carried.
Representative Blex moved, seconded by Representative Underhill to amend HB2083 which narrows the scope of the nullification provision to only apply to taxes, fees, or other charges (Attachment 30). Motion carried.
Representative Blex moved, seconded by Representative Melton to pass favorably, HB2083 as amended.
