Chairperson Francis opened the hearing on HB2014.
Chris Waggoner, Office of Revisor of Statutes, provided an overview of the bill and addressed questions from the committee. (Attachment 1)
Representative Ken Collins, Kansas Legislature, District 2 testified in support of the bill. He described Mr. Lessen's lifetime as a dedicated Kansas resident and the many contributions he made beginning with his service during World War II and the Korean War as a B-24 gunner for the Army Air Corp. (Attachment 2)
Rob Lessen, Kansas Resident provided written testimony in support of the bill. (Attachment 3)
There being no further conferees, Chairperson Francis closed the hearing on HB2014.
