This bill simplifies financial requirements for Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO's) in the application process. Before an HMO can conduct business in the state of Kansas they must apply for a Certificate of Authority. The application process includes providing financial projections monthly and quarterly. This bill will simplify the financial requirements from monthly and quarterly to annual. This is strictly for the application process.
