Eileen Ma, Assistant Revisor, Kansas Revisor of Statutes Office (ROS), presented a bill brief on SB15. (Attachment 1)
Eric Turek, Director, Government and Public Affairs, Kansas Insurance Department (KID) presented proponent testimony on the bill. (Attachment 2) Mr. Turek responded to questions from the Vice Chairperson and Senators Olson, Gossage, Warren, and Holscher. Mr. Turek told the members that he would follow up with some additional information in response to their questions. That information was provided on Monday, January 30, 2023, in an e-mail. (Attachment 3)
Seeing no other questions or comments, and no other proponent, opponent, or neutral testimony submitted, Vice Chairperson Fagg closed the hearing on SB15. He turned the committee's attention to SB19 and opened the hearing.
