Matt Billingsley, Director

Matt Billingsley is the current Director of Legislative Administrative Services. Prior to assuming these duties, Matt served as the Chief of Staff/Advisor for the Kansas Senate Majority Leader. He also served in State Government as the Chief of Staff for the Secretary of Revenue and served as the Director of Property Management for the Department for Children and Families. Prior to Matt’s work in state government, he worked for a Fortune 500 company for over 20 years in Kansas and Missouri. Matt also owned and operated his own business in Kansas.

He has been involved in several civic organizations and served on the board of directors of the Boy’s and Girls Club of Topeka and the Kansas Boys and Girls Club Alliance. He is a member of the Sunrise Optimist Club in Topeka.

Matt lives in Topeka with his wife, Debra.

Matt assumed the duties of the Director of Legislative Administrative Services on July 1, 2026.
