HB 2599 reenacts 2001 HB 2098 concerning commercial guide services and disposition of certain wildlife and parks prosecution.
The Senate Committee of the Whole amended HB 2599 by adding most of the provisions of SB 180, concerning the regulation of sport shooting ranges. For a detailed explanation of the shooting range provisions, see the Supplemental Note on SB 180, as amended by the House Committee on Federal and State Affairs.
Background
Reenactment is necessary due to an engrossing (mark-up) error which inadvertently included in the enrolled version of the bill a House floor amendment that was not adopted.
