HB 2590 reenacts 2001 HB 2189, concerning educational benefits for public safety officers. Reenactment is necessary due to an engrossing error which inadvertently omitted emergency medical technicians from the definition of "emergency medical services attendant" in the enrolled version of the bill. The Committee of the Whole amended the bill to make a further technical correction.
