Sub. for HB 2135 would amend the law regarding the issuance of a driver's license or identification card to expand the list of those who cannot get a driver's license or identification card to include persons who have not submitted proof of lawful presence in the United States or who have not obtained an Internal Revenue Service individual taxpayer identification number. Likewise, an individual who can produce this information can apply for a driver's license or identification card.
