SESSION OF 2000

SUPPLEMENTAL NOTE ON HOUSE BILL NO. 2366

As Amended by House Committee on

Appropriations

Brief (1)

HB 2366 would repeal the statutes establishing the Presidential Preference Primary.

Background

Representative Henry Helgerson requested the introduction of HB 2366 and testified before the Committee during the 1999 Legislative Session.

There were no opponents to the bill presenting testimony before the Committee.

The Committee's amendment was technical in nature and concerned the statutory citations.

The fiscal impact of this bill, as estimated by the Secretary of State's Office, would be a State General Fund savings of $1,500,000.
