The second restores a claim deleted by the Senate Committee authorizing the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services to pay reimbursement for attorney fees and other related expenses in a child in need of care action, and increases the amount of the payment from $42,600 in the bill as introduced to $85,200. The third claim added by the House Committee authorizes the Board of Technical Professions to pay $9,061 as reimbursement for attorney fees and other related expenses in an unlawful practice of engineering proceeding.
The Senate Committee amendments to the bill deleted section 7(c) of the bill which authorized the Department of Administration to pay an employee suggestion award program cash award of $5,000. The Senate Committee also deleted section 10(c) of the bill which authorized the Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services to pay $42,600 as reimbursement for attorney fees and other related expenses incurred in a child in need of care action. Other Committee amendments were technical in nature.
The bill, as amended, authorizes total expenditures of $631,739, which includes $120,449 from operating accounts of the State General Fund, and $511,290 from other sources.
