Background
S.B. 27 is one of 11 bills (S.B. 27 through S.B. 37) introduced by Senator Emert at the suggestion of the State Department of Education to remove from the books certain statutes that have become obsolete, have expired, or contain outdated provisions of education law.
This bill removes two statutes pertaining to the Kansas Committee on School District Finance and Quality Performance. This Committee was created by 1992 legislation which provided for the Committee's expiration on June 30, 1994.
The bill has no fiscal impact.
