H.B. 2745 would amend the Consumer Protection Act regarding the three-day right-to-cancel notice for door-to-door sales of $25 or more by exempting from this requirement vendors of sales that occur on the fairgrounds during the Kansas State Fair.





Background



The sponsor appeared in support of the bill. An official with the Kansas State Fair Board also testified in favor of the measure.



Opposition was expressed by a Deputy Attorney General.
