Senate Sub. for H.B. 2422 is a technical bill deleting from a number of statutes a requirement that duplicate copies of certain corporation documents be filed with the county register of deeds. These documents continue to be filed with the Secretary of State's Office.
Brief
S.B. 474 was passed earlier this session deleting the requirement that a duplicate copy of the articles of incorporation be filed with the county register of deeds. Senate Sub. for H.B. 2422 deletes the duplicate filing requirement from certain statutes not included in S.B. 474 and deletes certain other duplication filings.
