CHAPTER 15 HOUSE BILL No. 2670* An  Act concerning townships; relating to officers and employees thereof. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

      Section  1. A township officer who also is an employee of the town-
ship shall abstain from voting for or participating in any motion of the
township board to increase the compensation, salary or benefits to be
paid to such person as an employee of the township.

 Sec.  2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
