SENATE BILL No. 97
An  Act concerning the signing of certain documents issued or made by the governor;
amending K.S.A. 75-106 and repealing the existing section.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

      Section  1. K.S.A. 75-106 is hereby amended to read as follows: 75-
106. All proclamations, warrants and requisitions required by law to be
made or issued by and in the name of the executive of the state shall be
signed by the executive personally governor or in the absence of the gov-
ernor, the lieutenant governor, or in the absence of both, a person des-
ignated by the governor or, when authorized by the governor, by the
governor's electronic signature.

 Sec.  2. K.S.A. 75-106 is hereby repealed.

 Sec.  3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
