CHAPTER 48 HOUSE BILL No. 2844* An Act concerning elections; relating to the distribution of ballots. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

      Section  1. The secretary of state may designate temporary alternative
methods for the distribution of ballots in cases of war, natural or man-
made disasters, equipment failures or other emergency conditions or cir-
cumstances which make it impossible for voters in a voting area to obtain
ballots as provided by law.

 Sec.  2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
