SENATE BILL No. 169*
An  Act relating to highways; designating a part of K-254 as the Senator Bill Morris me-
morial highway; designating bridge no. 008 as the Mike Hayden overpass bridge and
bridges no. 072 and no. 287 as the Herman G. Dillon bridges.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

      Section  1. From the junction of K-254 with interstate highway 135
east on highway K-254 to the junction of K-254 with interstate highway
35, is hereby designated as the Senator Bill Morris memorial highway.
The secretary of transportation shall place signs along the highway right-
of-way at proper intervals to indicate that the highway is the Senator Bill
Morris memorial highway. The secretary of transportation may accept
and administer gifts and donations to aid in obtaining suitable highway
signs bearing the proper approved inscription.

      Sec.  2. Bridge no. 008 located on United States highway 83 in Sew-
ard county, is hereby designated as the Mike Hayden overpass bridge.
The secretary of transportation shall place suitable signs to indicate the
bridge is the Mike Hayden overpass bridge. The secretary of transpor-
tation may accept and administer gifts and donations to aid in obtaining
and installing suitable signs.

      Sec.  3. Bridges no. 072 and no. 287 located on United States highway
169 in Wyandotte county, are hereby designated as the Herman G. Dillon
bridges. The secretary of transportation shall place suitable signs to in-
dicate the bridges are the Herman G. Dillon bridges. The secretary of
transportation may accept and administer gifts and donations to aid in
obtaining and installing suitable signs.

      Sec.  4. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
