10             AN  ACT concerning health insurance; relating to the patient protection
11             act; classifying pediatricians as primary care providers.

13       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
14             Section  1. Any health insurer shall classify a pediatrician as a primary
15       care provider.
16             Sec.  2. This act shall be part of and supplemental to the patient pro-
17       tection act, cited at K.S.A. 1999 Supp. 40-4601 et seq., and amendments
18       thereto. 
19        Sec.  3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
20       publication in the statute book.
