  9             AN  ACT concerning state property; conveyance of land and buildings for
10             services for the blind and visually impaired.

12       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13             Section  1. (a) The secretary of social and rehabilitation services is
14       hereby directed to convey, without consideration to the Kansas division
15       of services for the blind or its successor state entity which is designated
16       as the Kansas state agency in charge of serving blind and visually impaired
17       citizens the following described state property located in the city of To-
18       peka, Shawnee county, Kansas, described as follows:
19             The tract of land and buildings located at the northwest corner of 6th
20       street and MacVicar spanning 50 feet north of the north edge of the
21       second driveway north of 6th street off of MacVicar and spanning to 10
22       feet west of the west edge of the first driveway west of MacVicar off of
23       6th street with the northwest corner of the tract of land defined by the
24       intersection of straight lines from the previously designated boundaries.
25             (b) The governor shall direct that the tract in subsection (a) be sur-
26       veyed and platted with the legal description provided for the deed of
27       conveyance.
28             (c) The deed conveying the land described in subsection (a) shall be
29       approved by the attorney general and shall be executed by the secretary
30       of social and rehabilitation services.
31        Sec.  2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
32       publication in the statute book.
