  9             AN  ACT designating a portion of interstate highway 135 as the Military
10             Order of the Purple Heart highway.

12       Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:
13             Section  1. Interstate highway 135 where it enters the city of Park
14       City on the north, thence south through the city to the point where it
15       exits the city of Park City on the south, is hereby designated as the Military
16       Order of the Purple Heart highway. The secretary of transportation shall
17       place signs along the highway right-of-way at proper intervals to indicate
18       that the highway is the Military Order of the Purple Heart highway. The
19       secretary of transportation may accept and administer gifts and donations
20       to aid in obtaining and installing suitable highway signs.
21        Sec.  2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
22       publication in the statute book.
