An  Act concerning controlled shooting areas; amending K.S.A. 32-943 and repealing the

existing section.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Kansas:

      Section  1. K.S.A. 32-943 is hereby amended to read as follows: 32-
943. As used in K.S.A. 32-943 through 32-950, unless the context other-
wise requires:

      (a) "Game bird'' means pheasant, quail, partridge, turkey, hand-
raised mallard duck, prairie chicken, grouse, exotic game bird or any other
bird hunted by sportspersons.

      (b) ``Propagated'' means birds which are pen raised, birds raised from
eggs purchased for purposes of raising such birds, chicks and full-grown
birds purchased to be released in the area, as well as birds hatched from
eggs produced on the area.

      Sec.  2. K.S.A. 32-943 is hereby repealed.

      Sec.  3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the statute book.
