                    SENATE RESOLUTION No. 1851           By Senators Hensley, Lee and Petty           4-1             9             A RESOLUTION relating to the rules of the Senate 1997-2000; adding
10             a new rule 80.

12           Be it resolved by the Senate of the State of Kansas: That the rules of
13       the senate be amended by adding a new rule to read as follows:
14           Rule 80. Renewal of Failed Motion to Concur. A motion to con-
15       cur in amendments made by the other house to a senate bill which fails
16       but does not have the affect of killing the bill may be again moved at a
17       later time but prior to adjournment sine die of the legislative session
18       during which such motion was first made. In no case shall such motion
19       be made on any one bill more than three times during such legislative
20       session. Senate Rule 28 shall not apply to this rule.
